Regional Carpool Program

Name Regional Carpool Program
Description

MTC’s Regional Carpool Program will focus on the formation and maintenance of carpools in the San Francisco Bay Area. The selected contractor will be responsible for developing creative outreach strategies to promote carpooling and to work with private-sector carpool matching apps to increase their awareness and adoption. The selected contractor will also be responsible for maintaining the 511 ridematch tool until such time one or more private sector apps proves to be a viable replacement. Finally, the contractor will be responsible for presenting the carpooling mode on 511.org, providing employer self-help tools on 511.org, and providing other support activities as needed.

A DBE subcontracting requirement will be included in the contract resulting from this RFP. Please register as a vendor and add your firm as a Planholder for this opportunity to receive future notifications and additional updates.

A non mandatory proposers conference will be held at 11:00 a.m., on May 9, 2016, at 101 8th Street, Oakland, CA in the Claremont Conference Room.  Proposers may join the conference via conference call by calling 877-873-8018, and entering the access code: 654187.
