Freight Model Program Design

Name Freight Model Program Design
Description

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) invites your firm to submit a proposal for the Freight Model Program Design project. The representation of commercial vehicle movements in the MTC travel model is based on data collected in the 1980s and 1990s and does not always provide information sufficient for robust planning.  Through the Freight Model Program Design project, MTC seeks assistance to prepare strategic documents detailing options for developing and maintaining a freight model program.  The program should consist of activities related to data collection and analysis, model development, staffing, model application, and model maintenance.
